Unfortunately there is not a hitch we carry that is compatible with the 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport HSE with the 5+2 seating. You may need to reach out to your local Land Rover dealer to find a solution for this, as it's likely something that was fabricated specially for these vehicles.
If you are able to source a hitch through the dealer, you... view full answer...

I am sorry but that is correct; the only hitch made for the 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport is the Curt Class III model # C13396 which only fits models without the 5+2 (3rd row) seating feature. The reason is that the underside structure of this vehicle version blocks the frame access necessary to mount a hitch on the Discovery. On any vehicle there is only one suitable place to bolt on a hitch and in the case of the version with the 5+2 seating that location is inaccessible.

It doesn't look like any trailer hitches have been produced for a 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport so the only real way you'll be able to accomplish this is by taking your vehicle to a shop and having them fabricate something for you.

You are not missing anything at all; I did double check with the hitch manufacturers, and the highest-rated trailer hitch receiver for your 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport is indeed the 4,500 lb capacity Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13396.

For your 2018 Crossroads Sunset Trail Super Lite Camper the rating for bumpers with an attached hitch is 125lbs. If it doesn't already have a hitch attached then it is not recommended to attach anything to the bumper.
I recommend instead attaching the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide Item # 13703 as it is a universal fit and can hold 350lbs and pull 3500lbs.
I've attached a video that offers additional information and goes over installation. view full answer...
